Choose Cauliflower for More Than Just a Veggie Tray!

We often think of cauliflower as a fraction of the veggie tray one of our relatives provides for family get-togethers. However, there are many different ways to incorporate cauliflower into your meals to soak up its nutrients more than just a veggie tray! It is extremely high in vitamin C and contains many other vitamins that help your body function. Cauliflower can become the same texture as rice, oatmeal, and even mashed potatoes. Let’s start looking at all the cauliflower options!

  • Cauliflower does not have to be eaten raw! I know this is shocking to you, but try roasting cauliflower with olive oil and adding herbs. It provides a completely different flavor and is still great for you!
  • Cauliflower can be steamed. Lemon juice adds great flavor to steamed vegetables and you can even mix it into a vegetable medley.
  • Cauliflower is nutrient-dense. It is extremely high in vitamin C and contains many other vitamins that help your body function.
  • Cauliflower can detox your body. Cauliflower can help rid your body of any unwanted toxins. It may strengthen the cells to provide a preventive aid for disease risk.
